Setting Blaze 3D Studio Preferences |
|
The Application defined settings affecting the behaviour of the Holomatix Blaze 3D Studio containing three sections, Directories, Preview and LAN Settings.
Directories
Defines the various directory paths and search paths used by Blaze 3D Studio:
Environment Template Search Path – Additional location of HDX files on your computer/network, as well as the current project directory Scene Initial Path – Location which is initially used when looking for H3A 3D resource files.
Preview
Provides controls over the preview display. This currently only allows the user to specify the background colour that the 3D model is placed against. This allows you to more closely match the preview to the final Flash presentation, which provides the most assistance during the lighting stages (Environment, Material & Textures).
LAN Settings
Provides controls over how Blaze 3D Studio connects to Holomatix Blaze Servers. The use of a user defined proxy server can be defined here. The first option is whether all connections attempt to automatically determine the best settings (default). If this is not checked then it is possible to request that all connections use a user defined proxy server by checking the next option 'Use a proxy server for your LAN' and populating the address and port number for your known settings. |
