When a swf is playing in the preview window, the 'Project' tab displays information about the files to be included in the final deployment.

Path

This displays the path to the project folder. If the project has been saved to a blp file then it is the location of that blp file, otherwise it is the location of the top-level swf file. The adjacent button can be used to open the project folder in a new window.

Project uses the following files

This table is a list of all resource files used by the project. Each swf, xml or css (Cascading Style Sheet) file that is loaded by the preview window is added to this list automatically. Files can also be added or removed manually by using the '+' and '-' buttons.

It is important the all the swfs that are used by the project are included in this list. When creating HTML deployment files, the holomatix.jar file that is created is unique to each project and the Studio must consider all swf files that are involved in the project at the time of its creation. When creating standalone deployment files, the swfs get included in the final exe file.

In the 'Source File' column of the table is the name of the file which created the resource, if it is known. Clicking on the source file link will open it in an appropriate editor - Blaze 3D Studio, Flash MX or a text editor.

If the 'Reload automatically if files change' box is checked, then the Studio will monitor the resources and restart the movie if it detects any changes.

Launch swf

This drop-down list allows you to choose which swf should be used as the top movie, from all swfs associated with the project. Changing this will cause the preview to restart. Below this box is a table of useful information about the launch swf which will affect the project, such as the size of the movie and the frame rate.

FlashVars

Add FlashVars variables to the table using the '+' and '-' buttons. These FlashVars will be written into the auto-generated HTML for web deployment, and included in the exe for standalone deployment. They are also used by the preview window in Blaze 3D Studio.
