Once you have downloaded Blaze 3D Studio, install the application by double clicking on the Blaze3DStudio.exe installation file. This will bring up the InstallShield Wizard which will guide you through the installation process. Please note that Blaze 3D Studio is a Microsoft Windows application designed to operate on Windows 2000, Windows XP or above.

When you first run Blaze 3D Studio, it automatically looks to see if there are any Blaze software updates. This process ensures that you are always using the latest version of Blaze 3D Studio.

You will also be asked if you wish to download the Blaze 3D Extras. These are a set of example projects, lighting environments and other useful materials to get you started with the application. It is highly recommended that you download these files by selecting the 'OK' button when presented with the following screen:

The first time you run Blaze 3D Studio, you are required to enter your User Registration details. If you have already registered at holomatix.com, you should enter your holomatix.com registration details (email address and password). If you do not have these details, you must register at www.holomatix.com before you can use Blaze 3D Studio.
