Publishing the Sample Project |
The following gives a step by step guide to publishing a sample project included in the Blaze 3D Extras.
Loading the Sample Project Ensure that you have downloaded the latest Blaze Blaze 3D Extras before proceeding. After opening Blaze 3D Studio, you are presented with a 'Standby Screen'. Select 'Nokia 7610' from the Blaze 3D Extras section on the right. A loading screen will appear while the Blaze project file is loading.

The .bla file contains the lighting environment and all the objects material settings and can therefore be reloaded in the same state they were saved. Publishing the Sample Project Now that all the files we need are loaded, we are free to edit the object's properties (available for view in the project explorer tree on the left hand panel). For an introduction to editing properties of a 3D Model in Blaze 3D Studio, see Working with the Sample Project. For now, we will just publish the project as it is. Near the top of the window you will notice that the there are 4 named buttons - "Environments", "Materials", "Textures" and "Publish". These bring up the relevent sections of the application. You will note that the Inspector is currently showing the Publish settings. (If you have explored a different section and would like to return to the Publish options, simply click on the "Publish" button. This will bring up the Publish panel). At the bottom of this panel there is a button marked "Publish Preview". Click this, and after a short delay, a web browser window will appear with the published Blaze 3D presentation. The files needed to deploy the finished presentation on the web will have been created in the same location as the source files used in this project. To view these files, close the Nokia 7610 project by clicking File > Close. The Standby Screen will appear once again. Now click "Explore Extras...".
