Holomatix Rendition is now in public beta. We would be pleased to receive feedback on any of the following areas:
- The quality of the rendering output
- The speed of the rendering output
- The user interface and ease of use
- Bugs, unexpected behaviour etc.
- Additional features which would make Rendition better
How to provide beta feedback
If you find that one of your scenes does not work correctly or as expected in Rendition, we would like to hear about it. To make it easy for you to tell us about errors and/or bugs in the application, there is a feature in Rendition (Help->Request Bug Fix...) which can create a debug package and, if you wish, automatically send it to Holomatix. If you choose to include your email address, you will be notified once the error you have submitted has been rectified.
The Bug Fix tool wraps up all the resources used by your project. You can choose which rendering session you want to send a bug report for. Optionally, you can include the Maya source file and the current screenshot. Where possible you should do this so that we can verify the scene output. There is also a space for you to write a comment describing the error. Please include an email address here if you would like to be notified when your problem has been fixed.
